Terms of Service

Effective: 11 May 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Sol4.o platform ("Service") operated by Sol4.o ("we", "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Sol4.o is a multi-tenant industrial-IoT platform. We provide telemetry ingestion, control routing, dashboards, alarms, billing, and related tools. Specific features depend on the subscription tier on your tenant.

2. Accounts and access

  • You must give us accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding credentials. We log every sign-in for security; you can request that log via privacy@sol4o.com.
  • Each user account is for one human. Sharing accounts is prohibited and may trigger lockout.
  • Tenant administrators are responsible for which users they invite and what scope (site, area, role) they grant.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer the Service or interfere with its security mechanisms.
  • Use the Service to harm a third party, including industrial-control endpoints not owned by your tenant.
  • Run automated scripts that exceed the rate limits documented in the API or that we communicate in writing.
  • Use the Service for anything illegal under Lebanese law or the law of your jurisdiction.

4. Your data

You own the telemetry, configuration, and metadata you submit to the Service. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process it on your behalf to deliver the Service. We process it according to our Privacy Policy.

5. Billing

  • Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe.
  • Your subscription auto-renews until you cancel it from the in-app billing portal.
  • Unpaid invoices may result in degraded service after a 7-day grace period.
  • Custom-tier enterprise customers are billed per their signed order form, which prevails over these Terms.

6. Availability

We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime on our hosted endpoints. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance via the in-app banner or email. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; industrial deployments should be designed to tolerate brief platform outages (most installations cache 24h+ of telemetry locally on the edge).

7. Warranties & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is capped at the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (fraud, gross negligence, personal injury).

8. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only to perform under these Terms. Operational telemetry belonging to your tenant is treated as your confidential information.

9. Termination

You can cancel at any time from your billing portal. We can suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms after a reasonable cure period, except where the breach is incurable (security violations, illegal use). On termination we will offer a 30-day export window of your data before deletion.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Disputes are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll notify tenant administrators at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
